All of the people featured throughout the video are actually fans, friends, and family members of the band who are holding up artwork that has been submitted by fans over time. The artwork was sent in as a sign of inspiration and encouragement to represent the song’s positive message.

We mentioned Jack’s Mannequin’s tour dates last week. In case you missed it (or it slipped your mind), here is the link to the pre-sale for the Farther From Earth Tour. Tickets are going fast and there are already a few dates that are sold out. Tickets range from $27 to $35 depending on the city so there is no real excuse to not spend your income taxes wisely.

Also, anyone who orders his or her ticket, or has already ordered, will automatically be signed up to win a signed lithograph. If you’re really lucky, you could win side-stage passes to watch the show at the venue that you’re attending.

If you don’t know who Andrew McMahon is by this point then there might not really be hope for you. If you’re not familiar with the band Something Corporate then you might have missed a very influential part of my adolescence. If you’re still in the dark and you don’t know the band Jack’s Mannequin, then we’ll just pretend that you were under a rock for a few years and call it a loss. McMahon’s solo project, Jack’s Mannequin, is doing international touring a favor but for us here in the states, well, we have to hold out.

Or do we? After The Honda Civic Tour rumored to be canceled due to the economic crisis that we’re currently in, McMahon is planning a U.S. tour soon. I can’t really throw any dates out there just yet but I can tell you that February 6th is the rumored day in which the dates should be released. So, if you’re still in the dark, you should check in at the Jack’s Mannequin website in a few days. It should be worth your while.
