It’s been about four years since we’ve seen a release from EELS. The last album, BLINKING LIGHTS AND OTHER REVELATIONS dealt with the human spirit. If that’s the case, then HOMBRE LOBO probably deals with something more along the lines of an animal instinct.

The EELS haven’t released an album in four long years, but they’re making a (loosely-termed) “comeback” with their 12th studio album, Hombre Lobo, due June 2nd, 2009. The album was created in the studio of “E” himself, Mark Oliver Everett.
