Let Live and Let Ghosts, Jukebox the Ghost


Maybe the piano is something I’m attracted to lately. Maybe it’s the fact that people are utilizing this instrument the right way. Maybe it doesn’t really matter when you are subjected to the witty lyrics, unique melodies, and interesting images found in the music and music videos of the trio, Jukebox the Ghost.

It seems as if lately this thing called the Internet is useful for a lot of things other than buying things on eBay that you’re too embarrassed to buy in stores. It’s okay; we all get a little “nerd” sometimes.

Maybe you should hold it in. Maybe you shouldn’t.

This is a very creative video for the track, “Hold It In,” on their latest album, Let Live and Let Ghosts.


Was told that I’m a man now
And that I’m not allowed to cry
Only thing that I can do is hold it in
Hold it in, ha!

This band reminds me of that one kid at work that never lets anything bring him down. You could eat their tuna sandwich that they clearly left in the break room refrigerator marked with their name, turn in their work and take the credit of your boss when he recognizes you at a company party, or accidentally spill coffee in their crotch…

They will still smile and continue to hold it in.
