Malvina Reynolds

Malvina Reynolds’ song, “Little Boxes,” was written in 1962 to address the conformity and suburban sprawl of then modern-day America. It is now being used as the theme song for the show Weeds, the story about a widowed housewife who becomes the neighborhood pusher. The times may have changed, but some songs are timeless enough to remain relevant– in every situation.
