Turin Brakes Premiere Video For “Sea Change”
Turin Brakes is U.K.’s Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, and this acoustic folk duo serve up an apocalyptic feel for their upcoming album Outbursts. For the string of nonbelievers, there is even a track titled “Apocolips” to support the claim. Outbursts stays true to the quietness and subtlety of the acoustic genre without being repetitive and featureless.
In the video for their lead single, “Sea Change,” Harry Dwyer directs a musical journey equipped with toy army men who are talented enough to synchronize their guns to the beat of the song (around the two minute mark):
Outbursts is released on April 20th and in support of the album, Turin Brakes will be touring the U.K. this March. Don’t fret, America! U.S. tour dates are coming soon.
