Parachute Musical Hit the Studio

Parachute Musical are hitting the studio next week in order to bring you a follow up to Everything is Working Out Fine in Some Town. In our last Parachute Musical update, we informed you on some things that have recently changed. The two tracks that were supposed to show up on the two-single release are not “New Love” and “Wasn’t Ready” anymore. The band made some last minute adjustments and are placing the tracks “No Comfort” and “Drop Me a Line” on the two-single release instead, which is set to appear later in November.

It’s always interesting to see a band’s routine when they’re in the studio. Well, for better or worse (we’ll soon find out), Parachute Musical are going to give you access to the recording process. They’ll be broadcasting live via Justin.tv. You can keep tabs on when they will be broadcasting by following their Twitter updates. If you miss anything, they’ll also be posting studio updates on their Tumblr blog. The new album should be ready sometime in January.

Here is some recent footage of Josh Foster and Tom Gilbert playing an Elliott Smith tribute show in Nashville:

In the meantime, they have a few more tour dates lined up for you:

11.14.09 Lawrenceburg, TN @ Cross Roads Coffee House
11.20.09 Nashville, TN @ 12th & Porter
12.05.09 Murfreesboro, TN @ YEAH! in the Boro
01.14.10 Denton, TX @ The Boiler Room
01.15.10 Austin, TX @ Emo’s
01.23.10 Charleston, SC @ The Music Farm
