Jamie Lidell Releases Video For “The Ring”
Jamie Lidell recently took us behind the scenes to show how hard he was working for his upcoming album, Compass. Its U.S. release date is set for May 18th, but in the meantime, the new video for “The Ring” will have to act as a substitute.
In this track, Chilly Gonzales and Dan Rossen (of Grizzly Bear) lend some musical companionship to Lidell as he belts in the beaches of Western Australia about a beach bum looking for his gold. In a complete act of irony, Lidell’s spasms in the “The Ring” are very reminiscent of — well, The Ring.
