Introducing: SUNBEARS!
Jonathan Grant Berlin and Jared Chase Bowser are SUNBEARS!, an indie/psychedelic/electric pop band from Jacksonville, Florida. Back in 2008, SUNBEARS! recorded For Everyone!, their very first EP. After playing some live shows, the duo gained a lot of recognition for putting on one hell of a show. What’s a party without confetti, right?
After all the excitement, the band was personally invited to tour with Dredg for the end of their 2008 tour. After returning back home, SUNBEARS! got to work and put the final touches on their latest Dream Happy Dreams EP. No longer than a week after its release, SUNBEARS! hit the stage with Mates of State and The Black Kids for a national Spring 2009 tour.
Introductions are nice. They’re better when something can be received. Like when you get conned into signing up for a new credit card at the mall or something like that. (Sure, thanks for the debt, but I really appreciate this nylon string backpack with your logo on the back.) Well, rather than simply introducing you to SUNBEARS!, we’re going to give you something you can take home with you (because you’re probably logged on to your company’s computer and reading music news when you should be typing up reports).
