fun. Offer Full Stream of Aim & Ignite
We have expressed shameless giddiness in anticipation of the release of fun.’s debut album, Aim & Ignite, and even pressed Andrew Dost for a few details about it all back in June. With only two weeks until the album’s official release, fun. have taken to their MySpace page to stream all ten tracks from Aim & Ignite.
Appropriately, Aim & Ignite spotlights fun.’s ability to create fun, upbeat music. With a penchant for crescendos and fanfare, it is full of fireworks (no pun, ha) and vitality. Though equally as lighthearted, fans of The Format will find Nate Ruess’s lyrics to be antipodal from those heard on his former band’s second and last album, Dog Problems.
Aim & Ignite will be released on August 25th, but until then you can visit myspace.com/fun to learn all of the lyrics to the songs so you can scream them from the audience when you go see fun. on tour:
