To promote this week’s release of their second album, Some Nights, fun. took a Janelle Monae-less version of “We Are Young” to last night’s episode of Conan. The band was backed by a ten-kid choir and Conan wore a mustache to introduce them?

In addition to finding their way to late night television, fun. took to IFC to premiere the official video for their explosive album opener, “Some Nights Intro.” Directed by Poppy de Villeneuve, the band performs the song to a group of friends at a black tie get together in a self-described Kubrick setting. If you’re a diehard fan, some of the faces in the video will look familiar:
