Free Music: Eulogies, Woods, Caroline Weeks

UPDATE: We hope that you all are enjoying the Free Music section. We know we are. However, if you are having a problem saving any of these tracks, then there is a possible (and by possible, we mean definite) chance that you’re using a Safari browser on a Mac computer. (Oddly enough, all lights are green on PC.) If you’re a Mac user and are experiencing this drawback, we recommend heading over to the Mozilla website and downloading a superior browser (also known as Firefox).

Eulogies: An interesting band who believe in not being quiet. “Eulogies for me is not about talking about someone who’s dead,” says Eulogies bandleader Peter Walker, “It’s saying those things that someone would say only at that moment but wish they had said right now.”
Preview: “The Fight (I’ve Come To Like)” from the Homespun sessions
First Impression: A simple song with a strong structure.
Listen To: On a rainy day when you find out about the invitation to the party that all your friends were invited to but forgot to tell you about.
»Save It: “The Fight (I’ve Come To Like)” from the Homespun sessions

Woods: A four-man band touching on the elements of rock, pop, and psychedelic tunes. Songs of Shame is the band’s latest album.
Preview: “To Clean”
First Impression: There’s a little person living inside of a bigger person, and he’s singing.
Listen To:When you’re sitting around the kitchen table packing pipes and tie-dying shirts.
»Save It: “To Clean”

Caroline Weeks: There is a lot to be said about simplicity, and Caroline Weeks does it well with her Spanish guitar, clarinet, and piano melodies on her latest album Songs For Edna.
Preview: “Elegy”
First Impression: Soft-spoken vocals reminiscent of Medieval romance.
Listen To: When you’re not sure whether to go to church or sleep in Sunday morning.
