Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Premiere “Kisses Over Babylon”

In the economic crisis that’s made us start skipping meals to save a few bucks, indie bands are cutting corners left and right too. While some bands are making merch in their vans and shooting low budget music videos, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are stepping it up a notch by utilizing their own production company, The Masses, and filming SALVO!, a twelve part avant-garde music video series.
“Kisses Over Babylon” is the second installment of the series and stays true to its originality that is seen in the first video, “Desert Song.” This video picks up where the last one left off, where we see Edward arrested for the murder of his own father and being hauled to a water-labor prison. And what’s a prison without a good old-fashioned breakout scene? See for yourself — and no, you’re (maybe) not high, the song is in Spanish:
