Dirty Projectors Take “When the World Comes To An End” To Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is mostly kind of a tool. I won’t rob you of that argument because you’re mostly kind of right. But he is also miles ahead of most of us when it comes to the measure coolness because most of us have never had the Dirty Projectors do this in our living rooms:

The Dirty Projectors stopped by 30 Rock on Monday night and no one was safe from their undeniable allure. Also impressed with the impeccable harmonies of the sirens of the band (no, seriously. Have you heard them live?!) was Twitter enthusiast, Questo of The Roots. Here’s his backstage video of the Dirty Projectors performing the same song, but in a smaller room:

(At approximately the 47 second mark, you can see cameraman Questo’s brain momentarily implode from the abundance of amazing in the room.)

The song is called “When the World Comes To An End,” and if the apocalypse sounds anything like it, then maybe all of that fire and brimstone we’ve been promised won’t be so bad after all.
