Dirty Projectors Take On Bob Dylan’s “I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine”
Dirty Projectors are keeping busy touring but not too busy to not take a stab at Bob Dylan’s “I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine.” Normally taking their audience on a musical head-spin, the group toned it down for this cover and polished up Dylan’s already simple track. When teamed against David Longstreth, the harmonies of Amber Coffman, Angel Deradoorian and Haley Dekle make for a very pleasant listen.
Staying true to the original version, this Dirty Projectors’ cover is a great restoration of an already timeless track, as presented by Levi’s Pioneer Sessions: The Revival Recordings.
