After moonlighting as the staple go-to band for every Best Of 2009 list (including ours. No shame.), Dirty Projectors have announced the release of their limited edition 7-inch, featuring the songs “Ascending Melody” and “Emblem Of the World.” Though available in its tangible form on the Domino website, the tracks are also free for the price of an email address at the band’s website.

If you’re in or around the Lincoln Center in New York on February 19th, you can catch Dirty Projectors as part of the American songbook series. West Coasters will have a more wholesome opportunity to see the band a week later at the Walt Disney Concert Hall where they will be performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic on February 27th.
