Cymbals Eat Guitars have released a number of dates for their U.S. spring tour and you’re not going to want to miss them. The New York natives have been playing the recent role of “that new band everyone wants to hear.” The same can be said for the tour’s opening acts. No turf wars here! New York’s Freelance Whales and Bear In Heaven will also be sharing the stage with the band.
The idea of a well-balanced concert satisfies different styles of music. In terms of the New York scene coming together, this tour should be interesting. Cymbals Eat Guitars and Freelance Whales are equally creative in their styles, but their sounds — not so equal.
