Just because Ernie Halter is still hard at work doesn’t mean that we can’t have a little fun. As promised, we’ve randomly selected a winner for the contest we held last week. We had a number of submissions via Twitter and e-mail, but as Twitter has already shown the world, it tends to be the superior form of communication. The lucky winner who will receive the Ernie Halter care package is Layne Hoffman (@layneoinsano). Congratulations!

As you know, life is not always full of fun and games. Sometimes you have to actually get some work done. That’s exactly what Ernie Halter has been doing while tracking drums for the new album. The recording process is very hard work and teaches you very important things — like how “Yes I Am” doubles as a new Halter track as well as the proper response to the question “Are you going to rock this bitch?!”
