Proving to be one of the year’s most anticipated indie acts, BRAIDS have already made a name for themselves on the Billboard charts with their debut album Native Speaker. The hype quickly formed around their first single, “Lemonade,” and it hasn’t really slowed down since.

As mysterious as the lyrics throughout Native Speaker are, Blair Neal directs a video to do them justice for “Plath Heart.” We don’t get a single shot of the band, but instead we get a close-up of a collapsing canal covered in a wiry bird’s nest. Or pubes. Or the shit that you clean from your vacuum:
