It’s easy to say that there’s no good music anymore, but it’s hard for us to believe that. In a time when music has become so accessible and when anyone with a MySpace page or YouTube account can create a fan base, the really great music can sometimes get lost amongst… everything else. Good music exists, you just have to spend a little more time sorting through the shit to find it.
That’s why we’re here. It’s not the sorting through shit that we love, but the gold that lies beneath. We want to introduce you to artists you may have never heard of, but we don’t want to be that guy who likes bands only because you’ve never heard of them. A musician doesn’t have to be unknown to be good, and a band doesn’t have to be on the radio to be worth listening to.
Our goal is to highlight as many different artists and genres as possible without bashing bands and their albums for the sake of street cred. We’re not here to look cool (as you’ll soon realize) or publicize anything we wouldn’t listen to.
